At Peace and Hope, we believe that every child, youth, and woman deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.
Since 2006, our work has focused on transforming lives through education, health, economic empowerment, and community development — creating ripples of peace across Uganda.
🎓 Education and Skills Development
Education is the foundation of change.
We reach out to schools and communities to sensitize students, teachers, and parents about the value of education and personal development.
Our initiatives include:
Supplying school materials to vulnerable children.
Identifying students who drop out due to hardship and supporting them to continue their studies.
Offering vocational training for youth who have completed school but lack employment opportunities.
Conducting research and mentorship programs that inspire young people to become community changemakers.
Through these programs, we help children and youth unlock their potential — turning dreams into skills, and skills into opportunities
❤️ Health, Hygiene, and Wellness
We believe that a healthy community is a hopeful community.
Our health programs focus on prevention, awareness, and access to care for everyone — including men, women, and youth.
We conduct:
Cervical cancer screenings and awareness campaigns.
Education on STDs, diabetes, and reproductive health.
HPV immunization drives for girls aged 9–11.
Reusable sanitary pad initiatives for adolescent girls — promoting hygiene, confidence, and school retention.
Menstrual health and hygiene workshops that also engage boys to foster understanding and respect.
Through these efforts, we restore dignity and empower communities to take charge of their well-being.
💪 Economic Empowerment
We empower families and youth to build sustainable futures through economic skills and savings initiatives.
Our programs include:
Formation of community savings groups.
Entrepreneurship training and support for small business startups.
Craft-making and vocational production, enabling women and youth to earn income and support their families.
When communities are financially independent, peace and hope become more than ideals — they become reality.
🌿 Sanitation and Hygiene
Clean environments nurture healthy lives.
We engage schools and communities in:
Hygiene sensitization campaigns,
Community clean-up activities, and
Education on waste management and clean water practices.
These efforts protect health, reduce disease, and help create environments where children and families can thrive.
☮️ Peacebuilding and Listening
Listening is at the heart of transformation.
We create platforms for dialogue, reconciliation, and understanding — inspired by our belief that peace begins with listening.
Through workshops, community conversations, and youth programs, we help people heal, rebuild trust, and strengthen relationships within their families and communities.
🌍 Our Impact
Since 2006, Peace and Hope Uganda has touched over 5,000 lives across six regions and more than 20 districts.
We’ve partnered with governments, NGOs, CBOs, and international organizations to amplify our reach.
Our work has been featured on NTV Uganda, Bukedde TV, and even in Fox News, KSL, and the Daily Herald (USA) — a testament to our growing impact and global recognition.
